MeET YOUR GUIDE

My passion for yoga was born with my ashtanga practice in 2005. With time, the practice evolved into hatha and qigong. In 2014, while living in Manila, Philippines, I tried yin for the first time. That is when I realized the true power of yin!

My curiosity lead me on a journey, that I never could have imagined would take me this far! Yoga has enabled me to learn about the depths of myself and opened up a new path for natural healing. Through yoga I have been able to lower my stress levels, and in turn better regulate my type 1 diabetes, that I´ve had since the age of seven.

To me, yoga is a lifestyle. It´s a choice I choose every single day. It has become part of my daily rituals, just as natural as brushing my teeth. My life goal is to be able to bring forth these teachings so that you can heal yourself too.

Passion and determination, mixed with kindness is the spice and flavors that you can expect in class. My teaching style is gentle, empowering and allowing. Allowing – seen from a functional alignment perspective – in the sense that it is always up to you as the practitioner to set the stage for your transformative journey to take place. To me, the practice is so much more than the actual pose (asana). It's about understanding the body and the mind in a combined way, where the focus is on feeling the sensation rather than looking like a picture – it's about taking that step within. Offering you, a space where you can feel more relaxed and comfortable, and at the same time motivated to go that extra mile. Feeling securely guided with options that suit your particular body structure.

Teaching brings me peace and joy. I feel blessed when I see relief on the practitioner´s body, a smile after shavasana or emotions evolving during practice. Every day is a new learning experience and the key is to listen and to be open for change.

Being able to be Your Guide is very fulfilling and I aim to build on that wisdom every single day.

My inspiration comes from various teachers and workshops across the world. My main teachers are Jo Phee and Kamini Desai. With inspiration from Deepak Chopra, Kino MacGregor, Ester Ekhart, Ben Wolf among others.
