What is YOGA?

Yoga is derived from the Indian word yuj (to join) & is translated into unity / oneness. 
Yoga unites people from all over the world with its great variety of styles. 
Yoga is essentially about balancing and harmonising the body, mind and emotions.

YIN Yoga– Calm, Meditative Practice

  • Focus is on release in the fascia/connective tissue.

  • When the body is under significant amount of stress, un-treated trauma and injuries, Qi (life force) can become stagnant, sluggish, excessive or deficient. By practicing yin yoga you are able to bring your Qi into balance.

     

  • Benefits: improved flexibility, calms the nervous system, decreases stress & detoxifies your system etc.

  • Suitable for all ages.

  • Zerina has 455+ hours of specialization in yin with a focus on hip and spine anatomy, MFR – myofascial release, Acu-yin (acupressure within yin yoga) with a base from Chinese medicine.

HATHA Yoga – The Yoga of Opposing Forces

  • Ha-tha (sun-moon) emphasizes on the union of opposites; in particular the union between body and mind. A classic yoga practice focusing on stability, balance and strength. Focus on strengthening the core and increase mobility in jointsPreventing injuries from occurring.

  • Benefits: healthy heart & bones; improves the blood circulation, stress reliever, enhances your overall well-being etc.

  • Suitable for all ages.

  • Zerina incorporates techniques from Qi Gong in hatha to create a more smooth flow and ease in the practice. Qi Gong is the Cultivation of your own life energy.

 

Yoga NIDRA

  • This unique yoga nidra* is a therapeutic sleep-based meditation performed lying down in savasana. You will be guided through different mindfulness and breath techniques with focus on entering deep states of tranquility. This practice is suitable for those with any stress related issues such as insomnia, fatigue, physical or mental pain etc. Pregnant ladies are very welcome to enjoy this practice too.

  • If you are looking for more peace of mind, this practice is for YOU! No previous experience is needed.

  • Zerina started practicing this special type of nidra in 2017 in order to heal her own insomnia. In 2019 she became a certified trainer by the the Amrit Yoga Institute* as one of the first ones in Denmark. Since then, Zerina has helped people overcome their underlying fears, support women during their conception journey and helped to clear unresolved childhood traumas.

Breathwork

  • Certified conscious breath instructor by Anders Olsson.

  • A 6 week program to a healthier & happier life! + a 3 month follow up. Various yoga practices are included tailored to your needs.

  • In my program I incorporate a mixture of yogic pranayama, qi gong breath techniques and conscious breath that focus on creating more vitality in your whole system. This approach is very benefitial for You who seek more energy, better sleep, restoration after accidents/surgery, dealing with fears, anxiety, stress or any other form for trauma relief.

Sound Healing

  • Zerina´s travels brought her to The Tone of life where she studied with Tom Soltron, Poland, to learn more about sound healing in 2018. 

  • Benefits: strengthens your mental capacity & energy, boosts confidence, effective pain management & a natural stress reliever.

  • Sound healing can be booked as a separate class or to be enjoyed with any of the above mentioned genres.
