2024 started off with a bang in the depths of the enchanting Finnish winter wonderland.
It was an otherwordly experience with -20 to -34 degrees cold, thick snow and 4 hours of daylight.
Enjoyable people and fantastic landscape.
If you ever get the possibility to travel to Finland - Go!
It´s mesmerizing - all year round.
A special Thank you to mama bear Helena - Founder of House of Bear - who shared her home with me and took the best care of me on my first time in the Finnish Lakeland of North Karelia.
Your humble heart opened portals for my growth in 2024 that were both catalystic and grounding at the same time.
The second quarter of 2024 brought me to mystical Scotland.
Yet another transformative trip where I went on a journey from Edinburgh to the Outer Hebrides and back visiting Inverness, Ullapool, Stornoway, Lewis & Harris, Portree crossing the Glennfinnan Viaduct onboard the famous Harry Potter train where I met fellow Scotland enthusiast Anna!
Anna has been in love with Scotland for a while & might even consider moving there from Germany at some point.
Wonderful soul with an even more beatiful heart.
Wherever your dreams take you my friend, may they always be guided by sunshine and light.

A day in Edinburgh
As you can tell - the weather changes quickly.
Bring comfortable hiking shoes, light rain & windproof outerwear and a light backpack to carry your most necessary items and a snack!
Not all who wander, are lost.
They are just in wanderlust. ;)

Sweden certainly has it´s charm;
This day marked the beginning of summer.
Summer is my favourite season & I thrive the best in Croatia.
This summer brought forth tremendeous life changing healing.

Third Quarter brought me unexpectedly back to the UK
Lush gardens, alluring castles and endless green scenery - I was smittened.
I was surprised by the beauty of England & Wales.
I highly recommend to go off the beaten path, hire a car & go and explore on your own.
There are lavish gems to be found and the UK in October was astonishingly dry!

With sheep as our only neighbours, it was the perfect tranquil spot to watch rainbows appearing while relaxing in the outdoor hottub.
